The 4th Transnational Project Meeting of the ‘Master Programs in Artificial Intelligence for Careers in EU’ (MAI4CAREU) Connecting Europe Facility Project took place this week on the 27th and 28th of April 2022, in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Colleagues from the project partners Technische Universität Dresden, University of Ruse Angel Kanchev, University of Bologna, CYENS Centre of Excellence, 3AeHealth LTD, Nodes & Links Labs, INJENIA SRL, MLPS AD participated in the meeting.
Partners had the opportunity to reflect on the work completed within the first year of the project, and set up a road map for the next actions of the project.
The meeting was graciously organized by the University of Cyprus at the Department of Computer Science at the Athalassa Campus.
The MAI4CAREU project aims to deliver modern “on the edge” Master Programmes in AI within the network of the partner universities. The programme will contain a strong element of inter disciplinarity and will respond directly to the needs of the AI industry. The Master programmes are designed with strong input from the SME partners and the wider industry and the business world. In addition, the students will have the opportunity to attend “AI Camps” offering collaborative experience in group projects on industry related problems and challenges. The project is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility program of the European Health and Digital Executive Agency of the EU.
