The MSc Informatics programme, starting in October 2022, is offered by the Department of Informatics and Information Technologies of the University of Ruse (IIT-RU). The programme will be delivered in Bulgarian for the students from Bulgaria and in English for the international students.
The MSc Informatics program prepares students to be successful for IT applications and management positions through a balanced curriculum that combines information science knowledge and technical skills training with an understanding of business fundamentals and strategic thinking regarding IT innovation. By connecting computing skills and applications to real-world challenges of information strategy, data governance, ethics and business intelligence, students earn competency in the areas of information technology management, system design and development, information security, human-computer interaction, data analytics, cloud computing and web services, and enterprise architecture.
The programme lasts 1 year (60 ECTS)

Multiagent systems with Artificial Intelligence

Management and analysis of computer networks

MSc Thesis is mandatory for everyone and cannot be replaced.

The minimum qualifications required to apply are:
- University degree in computer science, informatics or computer engineering. If the qualification is not available at the time of the application, it must be presented before the beginning of the programme in September.
- Basic knowledge of computer programming acquired through previous studies or work experience.
- Proof of very good knowledge of English.
Submission of applications for October 2022 entrance:
Applications can be submitted personally in the university’s rectorate by 1st September 2022.
The applications should include the following:
- A Curriculum Vitae.
- Copies of university degrees or certified confirmation of graduation in cases where the student has a degree of a non-Bulgarian university.
- A brief statement of personal goals and scientific interests (up to 2 pages).

Scholarships
Α number of scholarships for partial expenses coverage are offered for new incoming students at Master’s level. Interested candidates can declare their interest in Application form.
